In Zhoushan, the city of a thousand islands, the resort rests at the foothills of Wujian Mountain beside Wuling Wetland Park, facing the Thousand Island Coast. The artwork concept draws on the island’s crafted memory — the textures of fishing nets, knots, feathers and stone translated into a contemporary language — echoing the hotel’s conception as a “boat of dialogue”: a quiet ferrying between nature and the inner self.
